Mark Fortino
Mark brings a natural, genuineness to the quartet.
As their lead singer, he is able to create the emotion
and excitement
that people have come to expect from 12th Street Rag.
Mark and brother John got their start in barbershopping in
1984 when they sang with After Class, winning the Central States
Novice Quartet Championship that very same year.

John Fortino
Singing baritone is just part of what John brings to the quartet.
He does most of the musical arrangements that have made 12th
Street Rag a popular show quartet.
Eight of the thirteen songs on the new recording were arranged
by John. |

Micah Jeppesen
Micah Jeppesen D.D.S., that's right, he's a DENTIST, lives with
his family of 5 in Omaha Nebraska. He has been totally involved
in Barbershopping for the past 8 years, a fact his wife and children
will unanimously attest to. He has sung with several quartets
over that time, groups such as The Acoustix, The Gas House Gang,
and Platinum - well he wasn't actually a member of the groups,
he simply sang along to their CD's - but he was singing with
them nonetheless.
DOC, as his friends and people who can't remember his name
call him, has other hobbies which include, well...there's...well...he
likes to..........OK he has no other interest outside of barbershop
(AND THAT'S HOW IT SHOULD BE, RIGHT?) Aside from being the
best looking, he is also the tallest, most talented, and most
humble, just ask him. |
